| Objectives: To define term ‘mini beasts’. To understand that mini beasts are very diverse & that they need a habitat in which to live. Humans can affect these habitats detrimentally & so need to be aware of this & try to protect habitats whenever possible. Mini beasts play an important role in the food chain. | |
| Methodology: This is a look & see lesson. A wide range of habitats are visited in which a diversity of mini beasts may be found. Some order is assigned to them by the introduction of food chains/webs. The need for conservation is discussed plus general care & awareness of our part in the environment. | |
