| Objectives: To understand that trees grow at different rates depending on growing conditions & the species of the tree. Aspects of the tree’s growth can be measured. Trees perform a vital role in our environment – to climate, people & other creatures. Therefore they need respect & care. | |
| Methodology: Very much a find out for yourself lesson based on measuring , recording & interpreting results. Pupils learn how our climate is affected by trees and how they are used by humans & other creatures. | |
