The farmer’s year closely follows the changing seasons and each farm has different calenders according to what they do. To help you plan your booking, click here to see who is visiting our farms, what they will be learning and what happens during that season.

Life on a farm can be hard work but at the same time it’s one of the best places in the world to be. What better place to watch the sun rise than at 4.30am getting the cows in for milking; or watching baby lambs skipping around in the spring fields; or watching the combine harvester disappearing into the distant wheat field or the splendour of the snow covered hilltops in the middle of an upland winter. Farmers don’t take their life for granted, they realise that even with the hard work they are lucky to live and work where they do.
